This blog is going to be tailored towards creator business and creator education.
I started pivoting into a different niche and started a creator business blog for several reasons.
Table of contents
I didn’t want to be stuck in the cozy niche anymore. I felt too small behind the cozy label. My brand was bigger than just a cozy blog. Hence, I branched out to a bigger and more authoritative niche.
When I started this blog, my intention was to write about my online business and content creation journey. Soon it became about helping other creators going through a similar journey.
Different ways how I am growing my blog
These methods are tried and tested by me so feel free to replicate them in your blogging journey
1. Social media platforms for creator business
I am using Metricool to schedule all my social media posts across 8 platforms.
I create a short based on my niche and spread it out over a month.
So far it has driven multiple visitors to my blog. However, my aim is to increase the impressions on my blog to monetize it via Mediavine.
2. Reddit
Don’t sleep on this. Reddit is one of the largest active forums on the internet today.
I know there are several subreddits but the best one is the Blogging subreddit and it’s been a super supportive community

When you’re a new blogger, try to answer as many questions and be an active contributor to such forums. You don’t have to post your link but just be active
The key is to find subreddits that are in your niche and start posting helpful content.
Put your blog link in the reddit bio and it should earn you some clicks
I’ve designed a step by step guide to help you start your own creator business blog
3. Newsletter
I write Create Radiantly newsletter on Kit and Substack
I started Substack recently but haven’t been able to give it much time. It’s a great supportive community though.
The idea is to build an email list and keep in touch with my audience outside these platforms.
I have been trying to focus on building my list on Kit first so I can maintain my own subscribers instead of being platform dependent.

4. Pinterest
I am mentioning this platform specially because it is like Google search engine but for women entrepreneurs and very visual.
My feed reflects everything I am creating and posting
I also talk about using Pinterest strategies to grow my blog in the video below

5. Links in my social media bios
I started using Linktree after trying Beacons and Stan Store.
Once I have money kicking in, I want to invest in Stan Store because it does a great job at hosting courses and memberships all under one platform
I wanted to monetize my digital products and also host my online courses and turns out Linktree recently upgraded their game to include these features in their free plan.
For my blog traffic, I linked the rss feed in my bio and linked it across social media platforms.

Finally, the best way I am using to grow my blog is to write more and consistently so I can qualify for Mediavine. My goal in the next 6 months is to drive enough traffic to qualify for monetization.
